Big Red Barn Soapmaking Class

Service Description

Big Red Barn In-Person Soapmaking Class is a great way to try out soapmaking without needing a purchase all the ingredients and equipment. Show up with an apron and a smile, and we are good to go! Soapmaking classes take about 1 1/2 hours. In that time you will learn about the soapmaking process and all needed safety info, measure ingredients, choose your scent and colorants, and design your soap to be as simple or elaborate as you would like! In the class, you will make an 8 bar batch of soap. Those bars will be yours to keep, either to use as gifts or to keep for yourself...the choice is yours! We will figure out at the class how to get your soap to you. The soap will need to dry for 6 weeks before it is ready to use, but we can ship it or transport it after a few days. We will make those arrangements after our class time. Class size is limited to 5 due to workspace constraints in my soaping kitchen. However, if you have a group of 3 or more who would like to take the class together, message me and we will set a private class date for your group! Family visiting? This could be a fun project while they are here! Friends group need an outing? This would be unique and different! Have a larger group? Message me and we will see what we can do!
